Television composer

Luna Pan is an Australian television composer based in Sydney. Her credits include additional music for HBO’s Surviving Ohio State, nominated for a 2026 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction, and for Married at First Sight, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, The Traitors and The Killings at Parrish Station, and an episode score for Bluey.

Before you ask

Do you write additional music alongside a lead composer?
Often, and I like it. On Surviving Ohio State I wrote additional music for Cornel Wilczek and Thomas Rouch; on Married at First Sight, Food Stars and The Traitors I have been part of the music team turning around cues to broadcast deadlines. I know how to write inside someone else’s palette.
How fast can you turn around cues for episodic television?
Fast. Unscripted television runs on days, not weeks, and I have delivered to those schedules on Channel 9 and Channel 10 formats. Tell me the delivery calendar and I will tell you honestly whether it fits.
Can you work to a temp track or an existing show sound?
Yes. Matching an established sound, whether a returning series or a format with a house style, is part of the job, and so is knowing where the temp is doing the film a disservice and offering something better.
