Luna Pan is an Australian advertising composer based in Sydney, writing music for brands and campaigns. Her work includes the score for Boral’s 80th-anniversary brand film, the 12-minute original soundtrack to the City of Sydney’s 2024 New Year’s Eve midnight fireworks, campaign music for Dermalogica, and a catalogue of library music through Audio Network, where she is a commissioned artist, and Melodie.

Before you ask
- Can you write to a 30-second cut?
- Yes, and to a 15 and a 6 from the same idea. Advertising music has to land its shape in a few seconds and hit its marks exactly; I deliver to the cut, with the edit points where your editor needs them, and revisions turned around quickly.
- Who owns the music?
- Whatever the campaign needs. Most brand work is a full buyout so the music is yours to use anywhere; some is licensed for a term or a territory at a lower fee. I will set it out plainly in the quote so there are no surprises later.
- What if we just need a track, not a bespoke score?
- My catalogue is available through Audio Network, where I am a commissioned artist, and through Melodie, so there is music ready to license straight away. And if a track is nearly right, I can adapt it to your cut.
