Luna Pan is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning screen composer, producer and orchestrator based in Sydney, Australia. During the decade of working in the industry, she has created music for projects associated with HBO, Stan, Netflix, major Australian broadcasters and global brands. Luna is also an Audio Network commissioned artist.
Having studied piano and music theory for over a decade from a young age, Luna holds a Master of Arts in Orchestration for Film, Games and Television from the University of Chichester. Mentored by leading industry figures including Jay Stewart (The Block, Better Homes and Gardens), Burkhard Dallwitz (The Truman Show, Underbelly), Mitch Stewart (MasterChef, Married at First Sight) and Pete Anthony (The Hunger Games, A Quiet Place), she has developed extensive experience across scoring, orchestration and music production for screen.
Her credits span feature films, television, documentaries, games, theatre, advertising and web productions, including Bluey, The Block, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, Bondi Rescue, The Carnival, Time and Tide, Dermalogica, Boral, and the 2024 Sydney New Year’s Eve Midnight Fireworks, for which she composed and produced a 12-minute original soundtrack. The feature documentary Time and Tide recently won the 2026 Sydney Film Festival Documentary Australia Award.
Luna’s additional music work on HBO's Surviving Ohio State, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Eva Orner, earned her an Emmy nomination alongside lead composers Cornel Wilczek and Thomas Rouch. Luna is a two-time finalist and winner of the 2023 APRA AMCOS Professional Development Awards, and was nominated for Emerging Composer of the Year at the 2024 APRA AMCOS AGSC Screen Music Awards.
Her orchestral works have received multiple nominations at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards between 2021 and 2025. Her music for the Sydney New Year’s Eve Fireworks also earned nominations for Best Producer and Best EDM Soundtrack.
Known for her versatility, Luna composes across a wide range of genres and styles, blending orchestral writing, electronic textures, live recordings and custom sample creation to craft distinctive musical worlds for screen.
